LA County Breastfeeding Summit
Breastfeed LA holds a County Breastfeeding Summit every two years that brings together a select group of decision makers in the health care community who are actively involved with improving breastfeeding practices.
The overarching goals are to increase the number of Baby-Friendly Hospitals in LA County and to develop the systems to guarantee continuity of skilled support for lactation between hospitals and health care settings in the community.

- Community Clinics: Nursing Directors, Maternal Child Health Directors
- Public Health: Area Health Officers and Supervisors, Maternal Child Health Directors and Supervisors, Chronic Disease Prevention Directors and Supervisors
- Public Policy: State, County, and key decision makers: Elected Officials, District Deputies, and Health Deputies
