Taiwanese American mother Amy Chen shares the breastfeeding history in her family: My mother and father were nursed as babies. My sister and I were not nursed, we were formula fed. At one point when I was breastfeeding my son, my grandma said to me in Chinese, “that’s so great you’re breastfeeding him, because that’s actually the healthiest for the baby.”
